This Privacy Policy describes how FounderVoice handles information when you use the website and the application.
Overview
FounderVoice helps B2B founders and their teams turn recordings they own or are authorized to use into LinkedIn drafts. This policy explains what information the service handles, why, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
We collect only what the product needs to work:
- Account details such as your name, email address, job title and a securely hashed password, or your Google account identifier if you sign in with Google.
- Workspace details such as company name, website, industry, audience and the members you invite.
- Content you provide, including YouTube links, public video details, transcripts you import or upload, writing examples, voice profile rules, drafts, comments and approval decisions.
- Connected account data when you connect YouTube, including encrypted access tokens and your channel name. We request access only to import captions for videos your account manages.
- Billing records such as plan, subscription status and payment provider identifiers. Card details are handled by our payment provider and never stored by FounderVoice.
- Operational data such as processing jobs, usage counts and estimated AI usage, used to run the service and enforce plan limits.
How we use information
We use information to provide and secure the service, to generate and review drafts you request, to enforce plan limits, to process payments, to send service notifications you can control in settings, and to respond to support requests. We do not sell personal information.
AI processing
When you ask FounderVoice to analyze writing, find ideas or generate drafts, the relevant transcript passages, voice profile rules and examples are sent to our AI provider to produce the result. The provider processes this data under its own business terms.
Your recordings, transcripts and feedback are used only for your workspace. They are not used to build other customers' voice profiles.
YouTube data
FounderVoice uses YouTube API Services. By connecting YouTube you also agree to the YouTube Terms of Service, and Google processes data under the Google Privacy Policy.
You can disconnect YouTube at any time in Settings, Integrations. Disconnecting revokes the access FounderVoice holds and deletes the stored tokens. You can also remove access from your Google account security settings.
Retention and deletion
Content stays in your workspace until you delete it. Owners can set transcripts to be deleted automatically after a chosen period, delete recordings, transcripts or drafts, export workspace data, and delete their account in Settings, Privacy and Data.
Deleted data may remain in encrypted backups for a limited period before those backups expire. Billing records may be kept where the law requires it.
Security
Workspaces are isolated from one another, integration tokens are encrypted, raw transcript files are stored privately, and access is limited by role. Platform staff do not view unpublished workspace content unless an owner grants time-limited support access, and every such access is logged.
